Parent Advisory Council (PAC) / Bilingual Advisory Council (BAC)
Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
Wells Community Academy High School established a Parent Advisory Council (PAC) in September 2017. Our PAC meets monthly. All parents and community members are welcome.
The PAC exists to provide parents/legal guardians, teachers/staff, and concerned community individuals with the opportunity to work with their principal in the planning, design, implementation, and evaluation of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Title I Program. The PAC serves as an advisory group by providing input on amendments and future Title I programs. The PAC jointly develop and approve a parent involvement policy, which includes the school-parent compact. We also provide and share NCLB Title I information updates received from the New Region PAC.
Wells PAC Members
Bilingual Advisory Council (BAC)
All parents and guardians who have children in the Wells Bilingual Advisory program are cordially invited to attend our meetings. The Bilingual Advisory Council (BAC) is recognized by the Local School Council as an advisory committee for the Well Bilingual Program. BAC members meet once a month to discuss bilingual issues, enjoy coffee and refreshments, listen to interesting presentations on topics such as immigration and participate in the monthly raffle. BAC meets on the first Friday of every month in Room 106 at 9:30 AM.
