School Policies - The Wells Way
One of our goals as an educational entity is to prepare our students for the rigors of post-secondary life which includes college and career. We all know that navigating the real world well requires discipline, effort, and an adherence to professional and social norms. Our school policies are learning tools that we use to help our students practice the skills they need to succeed in our competitive world.
Students arrive to class on time – every period, every day.
Students dress for success by following the dress code policy all day, every day.
Tights are not considered pants, and must be worn with skirts or dresses
No low cut blouses or exposed stomachs
Gang representation or affiliation is not tolerated
No baseball caps or hoods may be worn in the building
No sagging pants or undergarments showing
Students use electronics responsibly.
Students are upstanders against bullies.
Students use blue hall passes when traveling through the halls during class periods.
Students are all responsible community members – caring for the people and environment.
Students come to school ready to learn.
